In any case, I can recommend non-profit organisation SuperNils. This organisation focuses on the mental well-being of children, adolescents and young adults with (haematological) cancer. And let mental well-being be precisely something that has become so important in our society and that can additionally help your company to achieve the ESG label.
Spending weeks or even months in a hospital room, often still in quarantine, increases the pressure on that mental wellbeing. SuperNils tries to take some of this pressure off, by offering all kinds of fun activities. Being able to forget the misery for a while. That is what we do it for!

What is this ESG label anyway?
As we can see in the figure on the right, ESG stands for environmental, social and governance criteria for activities in the company or business, which may have a potential impact on society and the environment.
This means that the company will take into account factors such as energy consumption, climate, availability of raw materials, health, safety and good corporate governance in its operations. It will become increasingly interesting to show the outside world that the company is committed to society and is concerned about the well-being of its employees. The government encourages these steps in the corporate world because, among other things, they lead to innovation and enhanced competitiveness. Moreover, they improve the world and ensure a better and healthier future for children and grandchildren.
NPO SuperNils is keen to help companies and enterprises realise a number of items from the ESG framework. Especially within the "social" and "environmental" pillars, we can certainly do something for each other. See here the three opportunities to work together ...

2° If you would rather not get into such a sponsorship package, you can still support our organisation by putting financial resources into one of our ongoing or new projects. If you contact vzw SuperNils, we will gladly give you an insight into our project portfolio and together we can see what is possible (see also further on this page).

2° Project support
Support the projects of vzw SuperNils
As a company, but also as an individual, you can support vzw SuperNils by contributing financially to ongoing or new projects.
The pennies will be used to purchase new or additional materials so that yet more patients can be reached and supported. You will, of course, receive insight into the progress of the project and the various purchases made with your pennies. All in full transparency.
You do this support for 1 year, but you are of course free to repeat it annually. As a company or individual, this allows you to tailor your sponsorship entirely to your own financial possibilities and you will not face any surprises.
If you're confident and want to donate the same amount over several years, you're better off choosing our sponsorship packages above.
With this project support, your name will already appear on the vzw SuperNils website, possibly with a link to your company website. You will also receive a tax certificate (from 40 euros or more) OR an invoice for sponsorship. Moreover, you can put our beautiful film clip on your own website, so everyone can see that you support our work.
If you deposit more than 1,500 euros, you will also receive a login for full access to our website. You may share this login with your employees so that they can access all the information on SuperNils asbl.

3° Together for a better environment!
Yet another way to support non-profit organisation SuperNils while working towards the important ESG corporate label is to plant a SuperNilsbos on company premises or other places in Flanders. By linking your company name to the name of vzw SuperNils, you show the world that you are going for greening and better air quality. This will certainly benefit the health of our people. Moreover, if the forest becomes accessible to people, it becomes a place of rest and contemplation, where people can enjoy themselves for a while. For children, it can become a play forest, where they can enjoy nature undisturbed and safely. All this in turn supports the mental well-being of humanity ... and that's what we're all doing this for too!

Evi Dejongh is a nutrition and exercise coach. She co-invested in one of our projects. Evi sold her own book and deposited part of the profit margin to non-profit organisation SuperNils.
Evi is also part of our "heart and mind" advisory group.
Mapeco sells working equipment for the craftsman. Among other things, they have a shop in our home port, Nieuwmoer-Kalmthout. They co-invest in the overall operation.
Pharmaceutical company Roche chose to invest in two of our projects.
SuperNils submitted a project application to The Warmest Week 2023 (King Baudouin Foundation), in function of the VR project and more specifically the movement game therein.
Pharma company that has been investing in our project work for several years.
NPO SuperNils received a social grant from Foundation Against Cancer, to develop the VR project.
Pharmaceutical company Swedish Orphan Biovitrum (SOBI) chose our sponsorship package with a big heart. So they will enter an amount of 500 euros (excluding VAT) in their accounts for 3 years in a row. Year 1 was deposited in 2024.
Amgen NV chose to support one of our project files.
Pharmaceutical company Janssen Cilag Benelux invested in one of our projects.
Takeda Pharmaceuticals International also chose to sponsor the overall project from our portfolio.
From Foundation Against Cancer, Levensloop Schoten 2024, we already received our second Levensloop Grant. This will be used for the information project within the VR tool.
NPO SuperNils continues to be Global Charity partner of the well-known LEGO company. Every year, they donate a large amount of LEGO toys. This used to be put in the goodie bags of SuperNils Day, now the toy cubes are brought together in activity boxes for both children and adults.
Antwerp-based wind turbine company Vleemo, headed by David Daggelinckx, has been supporting non-profit organisation SuperNils since the start of its operation. This used to be done with toys for the goodie bags of SuperNilsdag, now they are looking into the possibility of supporting our Mental-Boost folders.
